First Start route
Five short steps from a fresh visit to a working dashboard. Follow them in order.
- Go to the Etsy Tracker website. Start from the public website. No account or install is required at this step — you are just here to open the next page.
- Open Install / First Start. From the top navigation, open Install / First Start. That page owns the detailed browser instructions; this route only points you to it.
- Follow the short page steps to install the extension. On the Install / First Start page, follow the short page steps to install the browser extension and link it to your account. Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox are supported. Do not try to install from this page — the detailed steps are on /install.
- Add a competitor through the extension. Open an Etsy search or shop page you actually care about, use the browser extension to add a competitor shop or listing, and it lands in your dashboard with the keyword or page kept as Found via context.
- Use the dashboard after data appears. Open the dashboard once the first import and baseline snapshots complete. Movement, sales candidates, and restocks appear after enough snapshot history exists — the first baseline is not instant.
After the First Start route
Once the five steps above are done, the dashboard is the working surface. Give the first baseline time before expecting movement — quantity deltas and restocks come from snapshot history, not from the moment you added the shop.
If you later hit plan limits on shops, listings, keywords, or history depth, review pricing. Upgrading is optional and is not part of the First Start route itself.
